Job Description: Reporting to the Head of Archival Processing, the Processing Archivist arranges and describes archival material held by LSU Libraries Special Collections. The incumbent assists in the implementation of EAD and archival management software; participates in projects to revise, edit, correct, and digitally publish legacy finding aids; assists in accessioning archival acquisitions both in print and digital; and creates metadata for digital collections on the Louisiana Digital Library. They also provide public services at Special Collections service points and perform other duties as assigned.
