Summary The Iowa State University Library is seeking applications for a highly organized and collaborative individual for the position of Processing Archivist. This position supports access to and preservation of Special Collections and University Archives rare and unique resources, including analog and born digital formats, through physical arrangement and intellectual description. The Archivist is responsible for conducting surveys of collections of all sizes, recommending processing levels and priorities, and carrying out all arrangement and description activities. The Processing Archivist also provides reference services to researchers by completing several reference desk shifts per week, and assisting with in-depth reference requests as needed.
