Reporting to the Senior Archivist, the Assistant Archivist is primarily responsible for surveying, transferring, inventorying, accessioning, developing an arrangement proposal, and creating access for newly acquired collections at The David C. Driskell Center, including the papers of art administrator Dr. Terrie S. Rouse-Rosario and the Weusi Art Collective. The Assistant Archivist also oversees other archival processing tasks for select collections currently being processed or incoming (including the Alonzo Davis Collection, Michael D. Harris Collection, Robin Holder Collection, and a recent acquisition from the artist Dewey Crumpler) with support from the Senior Archivist.
