Looking for B.A. or M.A. student pursuing a career in the Library Science, Archiving, or related field to assist Director of Communications and Records Manager with creating a digital archive for a 158-year-old international labor union. Archive will include both photographs and historical documents. Tasks would include:
Become familiar with the various BAC collections of photographs, books and documents that may be selected for scanning and archiving.
Create and manage the content of the archival database on Resource Space. Scan and/or upload materials to the database through a well-defined protocol and indexing workflow.
Assist Communications and Records Management departments in retrieving assets from the archive.

B.A. in History, Library or Archival Science, Communications or related field
Preferably pursuing a Masters Degree in Library or Archival Science, or other related field.
Position requires a goal orientated, self-motivating individual.
