PRIMARY SOURCE LESSON DESIGNER
The LGBTQ Religious Archives Network (LGBTQ-RAN) is offering three thirteen-week (May 22-August 18, 2023), part-time (10 hours a week), ONLINE internships for students or graduates seeking to develop skills and gain experience in researching, teaching, and preserving LGBTQ religious history. One of the three is the PRIMARY SOURCE LESSON DESIGNER. An ideal intern will be familiar with best practices and standards related to teaching with primary sources as well as how teachers create and use online lesson plans. Using this knowledge, the intern will design a lesson plan for high school history classes that uses primary sources to introduce the history of LGBTQ movements with a focus on their religious aspects. Digitized primary sources can be found on and beyond the LGBTQ-RAN website.
