Under general supervision as part of the Archival Processing Unit, assists in creating and maintaining intellectual control of permanent records of state agencies and local government subdivisions that have been transferred to the state archives and provides reference assistance to researchers and government officials.   Accessions, arranges and describes government records following in-house guidelines and procedures with a focus on special media formats (including but not limited to photographs, negatives, slides, maps, blueprints, news print, audio and video tapes and film).
