The Anacostia Community Museum (ACM) has a need to procure 600 hours of professional archival services from an independent contractor to process fourteen archival collections totaling approximately 14 linear feet and 10 GB of digital files. Archival materials include personal papers and project records documenting a range of women – among them homemakers, entrepreneurs, activists and educators – who made a difference in their communities in and around Washington, DC. The work is part of an effort by the museum to surface the stories of local women, particularly African American women, from the 1970s to the present.
